Parolee accused of holding gun to woman's head

A parolee was arrested Sunday after he hit a woman and then held a gun to her head, according to a Little Rock police report.

Ashton Bailey, 22, is facing charges of aggravated assault on a family or household member, third-degree domestic battery and possession of a firearm by a certain person.

Authorities say the victim reported Bailey hit her and then put a black gun with a brown handle to her head Sunday at an apartment in the 7400 block of Mabelvale Pike.

The gun was found in Bailey's bedroom, and he was arrested about 1:15 p.m., according to the report.

Online court records show Bailey has convictions in Pulaski County on charges including residential burglary, theft of property and possession of a firearm by a certain person and is on parole through 2015.

Bailey remained in the Pulaski County jail Monday morning with bail not yet set.
