A body found near Kanis Road on Saturday morning has been identified as a 40-year-old woman, police said Monday.
Police said in a statement that the body was identified as Dawntea Arthur. A police spokesman said Arthur didn't have a permanent address but "stayed at various location In Little Rock and surrounding areas."
The cause of death was said only to be some form of trauma to the body.
The body was found in the 7900 block of Kanis Road by members of a local church that was cleaning up trash in the area.
