Mustafa Akyol, a Turkish political commentator and author, will speak at noon today at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock.
Akyol will talk about what peaceful demonstrations in the Middle East mean for the region - more democracy or more violence - in light of the 2010 Arab Spring’s shift to violence in Egypt and Syria.
A book signing will follow the event in Sturgis Hall.
