Lecture to discuss after-school efforts

Terry Peterson, a leader of multiple national after-school learning programs, will speak at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service’s 2013 Forest Rozelle Lecture today.

Peterson is a senior fellow at the College of Charleston in South Carolina, director of the Afterschool and Community Learning National Network and chairman of the National Afterschool Alliance. He will speak about the promise of after-school and summer programs to expand learning opportunities for children.

The lecture will take place from 6-8 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Clinton presidential library and is presented in partnership with the Arkansas Education Association and the William J. Clinton Foundation.
