Authorities in Benton arrested a woman on accusations she attempted to stab her boyfriend with a knife in their apartment.
Crissy Speers, 33, was arrested Tuesday night on charges including aggravated assault, third-degree domestic battery and second-degree terroristic threatening, according to a news release from the Benton Police Department.
Police say they were called shortly before 8 p.m. to a disturbance with a weapon at a home on Watts Road.
The victim told investigators Speers "assaulted him and attempted to stab him with a knife," according to the news release.
Police say a knife was recovered at the scene.
An agency spokesman said the victim and Speers are dating and live together. The victim suffered only minor scratches that weren't from the knife.
