A Little Rock man is accused of pouring bleach on the mother of his child Monday afternoon at a North Little Rock Wal-Mart.
Lontrell Johnson, 23, is facing a charge of aggravated assault on a family or household member.
Police say Johnson "got mad" at the victim about 4:30 p.m. in the Wal-Mart at 4450 E. McCain Blvd. before taking a bottle of bleach from the shelf, opening it and pouring it on her.
An officer working off-duty met the victim in a back room of the store, where she smelled of bleach and was flushing her eyes with water, according to a North Little Rock Police Department report.
It wasn't clear whether the victim required medical attention.
Johnson was arrested in the store parking lot.
He remained in the Pulaski County jail Tuesday morning with bail not yet set. A preliminary court appearance is set for later Tuesday morning.
