A homeless man was hospitalized after being beaten with wooden planks and robbed Wednesday evening, Little Rock authorities said.
At 9:38 p.m., officers were approached by Antonio Goodloe, 25, at a gas station near the intersection of Ninth Street and Interstate 30, according to a report from the Little Rock Police Department.
Goodloe told authorities that three people, two black men and one black woman, had jumped him and beaten him with a 2-foot-by-4-foot piece of wood near the intersection of Sixth Street and Interstate 30.
During the beating, the three took his clothes and his wallet and about $250, according to the report. Goodloe told police one of the male attackers went by the name 'N.O.'
Goodloe was taken to UAMS Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, police said. There was no updated word on his condition.
