A gunman got into a man's car at a Little Rock gas station late Thursday night, forced him to drive to a homeless shelter and then ordered him and a passenger from the vehicle, authorities said.
The man, who then took off in the victim's rented 2013 Dodge Avenger, has not been located.
Police say the 33-year-old victim was at the Exxon station at 612 E. Roosevelt Road shortly before 11 p.m. when the gunman got in the car, sat behind him and ordered him to drive to Our House, a shelter for working homeless at 302 E. Roosevelt Road.
There, the gunman ordered the victim and a passenger to get out and run off, according to a Little Rock Police Department report. The robber then fled in the stolen car.
The four-door Avenger is silver with Tennessee plates and the license number G8709K.
The gunman is described only as a black man 20 to 25 years old with a dark complexion, light build, black hair and brown eyes.
