MULBERRY — Authorities say a man in Crawford County has died in a house fire and his wife was seriously injured.
The sheriff's office says that 66-year-old Gerald William Snyder died in the Monday blaze at their home in the Mulberry area. His wife, Anita Snyder, was injured.
The Southwest Times Record reported that the couple's grandchildren got out of the house and helped get their grandmother to safety.
The home was a loss. Officials say the blaze is not suspicious but its cause remains under investigation.
