NLR police seeking Bank of Ozarks robber

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Friday afternoon at a Bank of the Ozarks branch in North Little Rock, officials said.

The robbery occurred about 4:18 p.m. at 3640 Camp Robinson Road, North Little Rock Police spokesman Shana Cobbs said. Police were alerted to the robbery after they received a call and the bank's alarm activated. Cobbs said the robber entered the bank, demanded money and fled with an unknown amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

Cobbs said the robber is a black male who wore a black shirt and a black hat with white "A" embroidered on it. He also wore a surgical mask, she said.

It wasn't immediately clear whether the robber was armed or how many people were in the bank at the time of the robbery, Cobbs said.

Individuals with any information about the robbery are asked to call North Little Rock police.
