Highway officials have set a public meeting in Drasco next week on plans to add passing lanes on Arkansas 25.
The proposed construction would add northbound and southbound passing lanes between the Arkansas 25 spur and Locust Grove, northeast of Heber Springs in Cleburne County, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said in a statement.
The meeting is set for 4-7 p.m. Thursday in the Drasco General Baptist Church's fellowship hall, 6800 Heber Springs Road North.
Members of the public may visit anytime during the meeting to view displays, ask questions and offer comments, the department said. More information is available by calling the department's Environmental Division at (501) 569-2281.
