A Little Rock liquor store was hit Tuesday night by a robber who arrived with a handgun and his own bag for making off with the loot, police said.
Officers were called about 8:41 p.m. to Express Liquor, 3601 John Barrow Road, on a report that a robbery had just occurred, a Little Rock Police Department report states. A clerk at the store told officers that a white male in his late teens or early 20s wearing a black ski mask and all-black clothing entered the store "armed with a dark-colored revolver," according to the report.
The robber went to the register, pointed his gun at a clerk and "forced him to dump [the contents of] his register into a white plastic baggie, which the suspect brought with him," the report states. The robber made the other clerk empty the contents of his register into the bag, too, according to the police narrative.
The robber, described as 5 foot 5 and 120 pounds, fled on foot behind the store, the clerks told police. It wasn't clear how much cash he took.
Officers issued a broadcast, police said, but no one has yet been arrested in the robbery.
