A new overnight detour is set this weekend at the ongoing Big Rock interchange project at Interstates 430 and 630 in west Little Rock.

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department says the northwest and southwest loops and the Markham Street access ramp will be closed between 11 p.m. Saturday through 9 a.m. Sunday while crews hang new signs in those areas.

Southbound traffic on I-430 trying to exit to Financial Centre Parkway, I-630 or Markham Street will be detoured to Shackleford Road. Vehicles on I-630 heading for southbound I-430 will be detoured north on the highway to Rodney Parham Road, where they can exit, cross the overpass and then reenter in the southbound lanes.

The southbound outside lane of I-430 will also be closed during the work.
