Hemingway museum in Arkansas to sponsor Cuba trip

PIGGOTT — An Arkansas museum about Ernest Hemingway plans to sponsor a trip to Cuba next May.

The Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center is an Arkansas State University heritage site.

The university says the trip is open to the public and will include visits to sites associated with Hemingway's life and career.

The museum in northeast Arkansas includes a barn-turned-studio associated with Hemingway and the family home of his second wife, Pauline Pfeiffer. During the 1930s, the barn was converted to a studio to give Hemingway privacy for writing when he visited Piggott.
