Southbound U.S. 67 reopens in Jacksonville after wreck

An accident that blocked the southbound lanes of U.S. 67 in Jacksonville has been cleared, but delays are still being reported in the area.

Arkansas State Police said just before 8 a.m. that the multiple-vehicle accident between between James Street and Gregory Place had been cleared.

The ArkansasOnline live traffic map showed then that there was still stalled traffic in the area.

Details on the wreck, which happened before 6:50 a.m., weren't immediately clear. Dispatchers said it involved at least one injury.
