Members of the Grand Masonic Lodge of Arkansas will portray Arkansans who died in the 19th century, commemorating 175 years of Arkansas Masonry, in “Masonic Tales of the Crypt,” 2-5 p.m. Saturday at Mount Holly Cemetery, 1200 Broadway, Little Rock. Similar in concept to Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School’s annual “Tales From the Crypt,” adult guides will lead tours through the cemetery, stopping at gravesites where costumed period players will relate the stories of the people buried there.
Entrance for the tour is at the 13th Street gate; admission is free but donations will go toward the restoration of the cemetery’s William Gilchrist monument. In the event of inclement weather, the tour will move to the Albert Pike Memorial Masonic Temple, 700 Scott St., Little Rock, where additional post-tour activities will take place and refreshments will be served, 3-6 p.m. Admission is free. Call (501) 529-3802 or (501) 374-6408 or email email@example.com .
