Man found dead in Baxter County home

— Baxter County authorities said a 21-year-old man has been found dead in his home in rural Mountain Home.

Sheriff John Montgomery said Andrew Scott Whitfield was found in the living room of the home by deputies responding to a call of an unresponsive man at the home. Whitfield was pronounced dead at the scene.

Montgomery said the body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab in Little Rock to determine the cause of death.
