— Police say a boy has been reunited with his grandmother after the SUV she uses to deliver newspapers was stolen with him inside.

Authorities say a Dodge Durango loaded with copies of the Savannah Morning News was stolen while it was parked at a convenience store Sunday morning.

Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Capt. John Best tells the Savannah Morning News that the 12-year-old boy who was asleep in the backseat wasn't injured and is being interviewed by police.

Police say they're still searching for the suspect. Authorities describe the suspect as a white man in his late-20s who was about 5 feet 9 inches tall. Police say the man likely weighed about 130 pounds, was wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt and blue pants and has a crew cut hairstyle.
