Woman accused of pointing gun at boyfriend

A woman is accused of pointing a gun at her boyfriend during a disturbance early Thursday morning at their Pulaski County home.

Pauline Rumsey, 32, is facing charges of aggravated assault and third-degree domestic battery after being arrested about 12:30 a.m. at the home in the 7800 block of Sparks Road.

According to a Pulaski County sheriff's office report, Rumsey's live-in boyfriend said she hit him in the face and chest, scratched his neck and then pulled a gun from her purse and pointed it at his face.

Police say the boyfriend fled into a nearby room and called authorities.

Rumsey remained in the Pulaski County jail later Thursday morning with bail not yet set.
