Plans to widen U.S. 412 between U.S. 67 and Arkansas 141 in Lawrence and Greene counties will be the topic of a public meeting next week, state highway officials said.
The plans, part of the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department's Connecting Arkansas Program, include a bypass of the Greene County community of Light, the department said in a statement.
The public is invited to view displays, ask questions and comment during the meeting, set for 4-7 p.m. Thursday in the fellowship hall of Light Baptist Church, at 17125 U.S. 412.
