Emily Brooke Arnold became the bride of Joshua Adam Tennyson at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 5, in Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jay Clark officiated.

Parents of the bride are Dinah and Eddie Arnold of Arkadelphia. She is the granddaughter of the late Zora Bell and Allen McKinnie of Hampton and the late Ionie and Hugh Doyle Arnold and the late Nolan Groce, all of Sparkman.

The groom is the son of Carol and Charles Tennyson of Little Rock. His grandparents are Frances and the late James Murry Tennyson of Smackover and Verner and the late Mary Yarbrough of Little Rock.

The altar held a large all-white English garden arrangement of hydrangeas, roses, peonies, calla lilies and snapdragons. Music was by organist James Maase and vocalist Mary Ann Robinson.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a silk mermaid-style Vera Wang gown with an overlay of tulip- and rose-patterned lace. Organza and tulle, hand-pleated into abstract rosettes, embellished the bottom of the skirt and chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of white, cream and soft pink hydrangeas, spray roses, garden roses and peonies.

Lauren Arnold Landers of Little Rock served as her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Hall, Tory Hunton, Bonnie Mertz, Mary Morris and Ashley Walls, all of Little Rock; Lauren Ballard and Deborah Ho, both of New Orleans; Mary Jaworski of Houston; and Paige White of Ruston, La. They wore softly pleated gowns of blush chiffon and carried bouquets of white hydrangeas, roses, stock and lisianthus.

Flower girls were Ava Elliott of Fayetteville and Londyn Landers of Little Rock, niece of the bride. Ring bearers were Brooks and Knox Elliott, also of Fayetteville.

The father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Carroll, Tim Ciabocchi, Robert Cress and Steven Meadors, all of Little Rock; Taylor Denniston of North Little Rock; Brent Dunham of Dallas; and Jason Joyner of Richmond, Va., Jonathan Joyner of San Francisco and Clark Tennyson of Hot Springs, all cousins of the groom. Guests were seated by John Alexander and Seth Armbrust of Fayetteville; Neil Carpenter, Brian Cherry and Andrew Ritchie, all of Little Rock; and John Rhodes of Houston.

A reception at Chenal Country Club followed the ceremony. The buffet held a large arrangement of hydrangeas, snapdragons, roses and stock with trailing greenery. Tables covered in ivory with gold overlays were centered with towering arrangements of white wedding flowers. Music was by The Soulsations of Memphis.

The bride attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Chi Omega. She graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and was a member of Sigma Theta Tau. She is working toward a master’s degree in nursing at UAMS. She is a critical care registered nurse at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He is a medical student at UAMS.

After a wedding trip to Playa Mujeres, Mexico, the couple will live in Little Rock.
