Everyone is invited to congregate at the river for the 26th annual Community Easter Sunrise Service, according to Thursday's Arkansas Weekend section.
The service, organized by Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church and with participation from community leaders and area choirs, takes place at Little Rock’s First Security Amphitheater in Riverfront Park.
Communities are pulling out all the stops with their egg hunts. Among the more unique hunts, Angels Care Animal Rescue will host its annual Dog-Gone Easter Egg Hunt at Reservoir Park Pavilion in Little Rock. And Petit Jean Mountain State Park near Morrilton hosts a weekend full of activities at its Great Escape Weekend.
