Taron Bell.

A North Little Rock man who police suspect was driving while intoxicated when he hit another vehicle head-on Tuesday night, critically injuring one, has been arrested.

Taron Bell, 31, remained in the Pulaski County jail Wednesday on charges including first-degree battery, driving while intoxicated and reckless driving.

Police say one person in the vehicle that was hit was listed in critical condition with injuries that were possibly life-threatening.

According to a Little Rock police report, Bell was driving a vehicle east on Asher Avenue at a high speed when he "attempted to pass a vehicle and hit the victim head-on."

"Subject had a strong odor of intoxicants on his breath," police wrote of Bell, adding he refused a chemical test and "had no driver's license."

An April 22 court date is set.

Has anyone noticed on cop shows, that the blacks never have any form of ID, no proof of insurance, no vehicle registration, and their famous reason for running is I was "scared", and, I only had two beers?

When people like peaches attempt to decipher the English language it proves Arkansas is very deserving of its spot at 49th in education. Thank God for Mississippi!
