Guard pushes back signing with Hogs

Arkansas Coach Mike Anderson will have to wait a little longer before he receives junior college point guard Jabril Durham’s national letter of intent.

Durham, a 6-1, 180-pound guard at Seminole (Okla.) State College, had planned to sign with the Razorbacks on Wednesday, the first day of the spring signing period, but has pushed it back to 10 a.m. Friday.

Durham will become Arkansas’ fourth signee for the 2014 class. Forrest City forward Trey Thompson, 6-9, 260; guard Nick Babb, 6-4, 180, of Arlington ( Texas) Martin; and North Little Rock point guard Anton Beard, 6-1, 180, signed with Arkansas in November during the early signing period.

Durham orally committed to the Razorbacks over scholarship offers from Oklahoma State, Marquette, Texas A&M and others.

He averaged 21.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 6.7 assists while shooting 50.1 percent from the field and 44.1 percent from beyond the three-point line this season at Seminole State.
