MovieStyle: Investigating 'Heaven'

Heaven is For Real is a pretty declarative title, and people might be forgiven for wondering if Hollywood — in an effort to be all things to all people — mightn't introduce some ambivalence into the movie version of Nebraska minister Todd Burpo's heartland bestseller.

Our Philip Martin not only reviews the movie in this week's MovieStyle, he asks the book author what he thinks about the way the movie people adapted his nonfiction story to the screen.

Elsewhere, Martin does most of this week's heavy lifting, also reviewing Transcendence, Le Week-End and 13 Sins, while Karen Martin looks at the documentary Elaine Stritch: Shoot Me, and Dan Lybarger takes on DisneyNature's Bears.
