Making Believe

A clever, creative 22-year old who hasn’t left the house in five years is going through a delayed adolescence while her family copes with the long-since disappearance of her sister in Make Believe by Kristin Anna Froberg, which the Fort Smith Little Theatre, 401 N.Sixth St., Fort Smith, will stage as an off-season show, 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. Footloose in Ozarks

The Theatre Co. and NorthArk Drama will stage the musical Footloose ( music by Tom Snow; lyrics by Dean Pitchford; additional music by Eric Carmen, Sammy Hagar, Kenny Loggins and Jim Steinman; book by Pitchford and Walter Bobbie, based on Pitchford’s screenplay for the 1984 movie) at 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and May 1-3 and 2 p.m. Sunday and May 4 at the Lyric Theater, 113 W. Rush St., Harrison. Tickets are $18 for premium seating, $12 for general seating, $16 and $10 for senior citizens and students, $14 and $8 for children. Shatner’s World

A filmed version of William Shatner’s one-man show, Shatner’s World, a retrospective voyage through Shatner’s life and career, will show up on movie screens - including the Breckenridge Village 12 in Little Rock, Tinseltown in Benton, Conway Towne Center in Conway and the Texarkana Pavilion 14 in Texarkana - at7:30 p.m. Thursday. Pocket auditions

The Pocket Theatre, 170 Ravine St. (Ramble and Ravine streets, just off Park Avenue), Hot Springs, will hold auditions for Irving Berlin’s musical Annie Get Your Gun at 2 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday. Principal roles are available for two women, five men and four children (a boy and three girls) plus chorus and extras. Be prepared to sing. Marti McWilliams is directing.
