LITTLE ROCK — Police in Little Rock say one man was shot to death and the suspected gunman is being sought.

Police say officers responding to reports of gunfire at the Park Heights Apartments, 1701 N. Bryant St., about 7:30 p.m. Monday found 20-year-old Bernard Sherrod with a gunshot wound in the shoulder. Police say Sherrod was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Lt. Sidney Allen said investigators have identified 21-year-old Darrell Freeman Jr. as a suspect in the shooting and are searching for him. Allen said the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
