MovieStyle: Live from New York ...

MovieStyle editor Philip Martin (and section founder and contributor Karen Martin) have just returned from this year's Tribeca Film Festival, and they've brought back news of the Chelsea Clinton-produced documentary Of Many.

And there was a locally produced short — Jesse Burks’ One Please — in one of the shorts programs at this year's festival. While its hard to provide an eagle’s eye perspective when you’re stomping around at ground level, splashes at Tribeca will cause ripples in local cinemas and film festivals later this year, so stay tuned.

Also, a couple of much-anticipated films open this week. Martin reviews David Gordon Green’s Joe — which is being touted as a comeback film for Nicolas Cage — and Jonathan Glazer’s Under the Skin.

Meanwhile, Dan Lybarger takes a look at the Cameron Diaz revenge comedy, The Other Woman. And, for a review of the Hindi movie The Lunchbox, see our blood, dirt & angels website.
