The Downtown Partnership is bringing back Main Street Food Truck Fridays this week at 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. each Friday through June 13 on the northwest corner, Main Street and Capitol Avenue, downtown Little Rock. This week’s lineup: Southern Gourmasian, Bryant’s BBQ, Roxie’s Hot Dogs and Loblolly Ice Cream.
Interstate Grocery: A Pop-up Restaurant will pop up 6-10p.m. May 10 in the empty storefront at 421 Cherry St., Helena-West Helena. In partnership with the Helena Advertising & Promotion Commission and Main Street Helena, Shane Henderson, executive chef at food supplier Ben E. Keith, and Jason Godwin, executive chef for Eurest at Acxiom and formerly of the late Dogtown Coffee and Cookery in North Little Rock, will serve a four-course, prixfixe menu “highlighting the culinary traditions of the Arkansas Delta,” according to a news release. On behalf of co-sponsor Four Roses Bourbon, Chris Ferri, bar manager at Southward Fare & Libations in Memphis, is designing two signature bourbon drinks to pair with the dinner. And the event is also connected to the theme of Arkansas Heritage Month: “Come to the Table.” Six seatings are currently scheduled, several of which have sold out.
