North Little Rock police are offering an amnesty period for those wanted on nonviolent warrants for most of next month, the department said.

During the grace period, those with active, nonviolent misdemeanor and non-DWI traffic warrants from North Little Rock District Courts can turn themselves in to the Police Department and will be given a court date without being taken to jail, police said.

The program will run from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays starting Monday and ending May 23.
