The brunt of a tornado that swept through the Paron community on Sunday demolished a two-story house and killed three people, Pulaski County sheriff's office Lt. Carl Minden said Monday.

A relative identified those who died in a home on Deer Drive as Rob Tittle, Rebekah Tittle, 14, and Tori Tittle, 20. Rob was Rebekah and Tori's father.

“There were 8 survivors out of this house, which is a blessing. There’s just nothing left here anymore,” Minden said as he pointed to the house’s foundation.

The Paron community is a tight-knit group and neighbors have been helping law enforcement search for those missing.

“We’re still checking houses. We’ve been making contact with the neighbors, and they did a good job of helping us,” Minden said. “[They’ve been able to] tell us who lives here and who lives there.”

He added that the sheriff's office has been focused primarily on helping residents dig through what’s left of their homes.

“We’re trying to get people in there to go through the debris,” Minden said.
