ADHD care costs drop with Medicaid changes

The average cost to Arkansas’ Medicaid program for treating children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder has dropped, in part because of a decreased use of psychosocial therapy to treat the disorder, a consultant to the Arkansas Department of Human Services told behavioral health-care providers Monday.
