Street plans topic of 2 Little Rock meetings

Plans for street and drainage improvements on Adams Street and Windamere Drive will be the topics of separate public meetings in Little Rock next week.

A meeting to talk about the installation of curbs, gutters and an underground drainage system on Adams Street from West 12h Street north to Interstate 630 will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Willie Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center, 3805 W. 12th St., the city of Little Rock said in a statement.

In addition, a meeting to talk about drainage improvements from Windamere Drive to Carlyle Drive will be held at 5:30 p.m. May 8 at the Southwest Community Center, 6401 Baseline Road.

At each meeting, representatives from the city's Public Works Civil Engineering Division and the project engineer will be on hand to talk about the project and collect public input.
