Under the federal disaster declaration made Tuesday, Faulkner County residents affected by the storm became eligible to apply for funds to help with temporary housing, home repairs and medical expenses, along with disaster unemployment aid.
Residents can apply by registering online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov, on a mobile device at m.fema.gov. or by calling 1 (800) 621-3362. Applicants with a speech disability or hearing loss who use TTY can call 1 (800) 462-7585.
The toll free telephone numbers will operate from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
