Man killed in Little Rock shooting identified

A man who died Tuesday night after being shot at least once in Little Rock has been identified Wednesday.

Police said Jason Harris, 41, was found shortly after 7:30 p.m. on the ground in the 1900 block of Sanford Drive with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center, where he died a short time later.

Little Rock police Lt. Sidney Allen said in an email that a witness reported two men driving down the street stopped, rolled down their window and asked Harris whether he had a "beef with them."

"The driver then fired 5-6 shots out of the front seat passenger’s window, striking the victim at least once," Allen wrote.

The vehicle is described as a newer model, black, four-door vehicle that was possibly a Honda Accord. It left north on Sanford Drive.

Late Wednesday, Allen said Keenan Lewis, 25, turned himself in to homicide detectives. Lewis will be charged with first degree murder, Allen said.
