Vines: Tornado aftermath caught on video

By ArkansasOnline

This article was published April 30, 2014 at 10:41 a.m.

After a tornado struck Faulkner and western Pulaski counties on Sunday, victims assessed their losses and sifted for salvageable belongings; communities banded together as neighbors helped neighbors and volunteers turned out in droves; and a process of healing and recovery slowly began.

Some moments — destroyed homes and businesses in Vilonia; flags flying amid the rubble; a radio playing in a destroyed pickup two days after the storms; children's toys littering yards; hundreds of trees lying on their sides — were captured live in short snippets of video.
