Lane closures will be required next week along Interstates 30 and 630 for minor work and maintenance, Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department officials said.
From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday evening through Thursday morning, the westbound, outside lane of I-630 between the I-430 southbound and northbound on-ramps will be closed while highway crews paint steel.
Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday, the eastbound, outside lane of I-30 will be closed while crews inspect the bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad tracks at mile marker 138, north of the I-30/I-440/I-530 interchange, highway officials said.
Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday, the westbound, outside lane of I-30 will be closed to complete the bridge inspection.
Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs, and officials urge motorists to be cautious when traveling through the work zones.
