The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department will hold a public meeting Tuesday in Boone County to discuss plans to widen a section of U.S. 65.
The construction work will expand U.S. 65 to four lanes, with a painted median, for 4.5 miles from Arkansas 206 north to Maxie Camp Road, just south of Bellefonte.
The meeting will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church, 4537 Hog Creek Road, in Valley Springs.
