Anthony Chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs was the setting at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 26, for the marriage of Haley Brooke Parker and Jeremy Chad Halbrook. The Rev. Carlton Cross of Salem United Methodist Church in Benton officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Pam and Mike Parker of Hot Springs. Her grandparents are Tom and the late Laura Cook of Bradford, the late Roland McNabb of Tyronza and the late Fred and Sara Parker of Forrest City.

Parents of the groom are Mary and Wayne Halbrook of Sherwood. He is the grandson of Bill and the late Louise Halbrook of Sherwood and Mary and Tony S. Leone of Gordonville, Texas.

Two large urns filled with bells of Ireland, roses, green Fuji chrysanthemums and hanging green amaranthus decorated the chapel.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless gown of English net over satin with a ruched sweetheart bodice embellished with a belt of crystals and pearls. Her fit-and-flare skirt extended to a chapel-length train. She carried a round bouquet of purple orchids, white roses, dahlias and green hypericum berries.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were her sister, Lauren Parker of Little Rock, and Sarah Baber of Fayetteville. Bridesmaids were Melissa Halbrook of Sherwood, sister of the groom, and Amber Heigle of West Memphis. They wore one-shoulder chiffon gowns in radiant orchid and carried bouquets of white and ivory roses, purple button dahlias, orchids and lime green berries.

Jon Barker of North Little Rock was best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy Price of Fayetteville and Jerry Bridges and Nathan Brown, both of Cabot. Guests were seated by Drew Gainor of Little Rock and Joshua Bemus of Sherwood.

A reception at The Regency in Hot Springs followed the ceremony. The buffet held two large arrangements of bells of Ireland, stock, carnations, roses and orchids. A sweetheart table held a cascading arrangement of orchids, lisianthus, hanging amaranthus and lily grass. Music was by Almost Famous from Memphis. Assisting were Sarah Whittington of Little Rock and Jenny Phillips and Amiee McPike, both of Jonesboro.

The bride attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Chi Omega. She has an associate degree in dental hygiene from the University of Louisville (Ky.) School of Dentistry. She is a registered dental hygienist for Dr. Sam Jirik in Cabot.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and is a teacher and head girls basketball coach at Cabot Junior High North.

The couple will make their home in Cabot after a wedding trip to Antigua.
