A Benton man was arrested Friday on accusations that he raped a child, according to the Lonoke County sheriff's office.
On July 26, Lonoke County deputies responded to the reported sexual assault of a 10-year-old, according to a statement from the sheriff's office. Investigators arrested Nicholas Alexander Ragan, 26, on a charge of rape Friday.
Ragan was booked into the Lonoke County jail, where he will be held without bail until his first court appearance Tuesday.
