Man pursued, pinned between vehicles, police say

A Little Rock man is accused of pinning another man with his vehicle after first pursuing him with it and hitting his car several times, authorities said.

Anthony Warr, 23, was arrested shortly after 1 p.m. Monday at 3700 W. 15th St. on charges of aggravated assault and second-degree battery, according to a Little Rock police arrest report.

According to the report, it started when the 28-year-old victim saw Warr at a barbershop and said he had "sought a burglary warrant."

Warr said he had also been looking for the victim and then got in his vehicle, following the victim and intentionally hitting his vehicle several times, the report said.

The victim drove to his aunt's home and got out, at which point Warr drove up and pinned the victim between the two vehicles, the report said.

The victim suffered minor arm and leg injuries, the report said, noting both vehicles also had damage.

Details on what precipitated the incident remained unclear. The arrest report didn't provide additional information about the "burglary warrant," and a police spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for a more detailed report.

Warr remained in the Pulaski County jail Tuesday with bail not yet set. A court date is scheduled Monday.
