LONOKE — The Central Arkansas Development Council is set to distribute U.S. Department of Agriculture commodities in various cities in Lonoke County.
The food items will be distributed Wednesday starting at 9 a.m. at Allport City Hall; Austin City Hall; Cabot Church of Christ; Carlisle Old City Gym; Humnoke City Hall; Lonoke County Fairgrounds; Ward Chamber of Commerce; Woodlawn Community Center; and the England Community Center.
The items include orange juice and canned pears, green beans, creamed corn and green peas.
Everyone receiving commodities must present identification and meet income guidelines that include a one person household earning less than $14,937 per year to qualify. For each additional family member, add $5,226.
