Heroes: Superheroes, villains and the people who draw them will be celebrated at the River City Comic Expo, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 16, at the Metroplex, 10800 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock. Vendors will be joined by artists such as Dusty Higgins, Stu Berryhill and Jerry Bennett, and special guests including Kevin Maguire and Larry Hama. Admission is $5, free for children 13 and under. Harleys: Fayetteville will rumble and roar when Bikes, Blues & BBQ returns Sept. 24-27. Bike shows, games, contests and rides throughout the area will combine with concerts on Dickson Street, lots of outdoor cooking and even an air show for the big event.
