Fayetteville man sentenced to 55 years for child porn

A Fayetteville man was sentenced to 55 years in prison with no parole for production of child pornography, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Conner Eldridge.

Jesse Oziah, 19, will also be subject to 25 years of supervised release, according to the news release.

Oziah came under investigation after an image of child pornography was posted to Facebook, according to the news release. Investigators found an iPod Touch with multiple images of Oziah sexually assaulting an eight-year-old boy, the news release stated.

“Cases in which children are sexually abused are horrifying and astounding," Eldridge said in the news release. "In this case, the Defendant assaulted an 8 year old little boy. This is reprehensible and the Defendant has now been brought to justice. We will continue to aggressively prosecute cases involving the abuse of children and the production of child pornography to the fullest extent of the law. We will continue to stand up for children throughout Arkansas.”
