Senior quarterback Ben Anderson threw for 66 yards and a touchdown in Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s first scrimmage of fall camp Wednesday in Pine Bluff.
Anderson also rushed for 44 yards on 9 carries and threw 1 interception.
Willie Young caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Anderson.
Running backs Aaron Lagrone and Michael Wilson combined for 87 yards and three touchdowns. Lagrone scored two touchdowns from 6 and 10 yards, finishing with 45 yards. Wilson had 42 yards on nine carries with an 8-yard touchdown.
C.J. Branch was one of 12 receivers with a reception. He had two for 32 yards and was followed by Young, who caught two passes for 25 yards.
Antonio Jenkins led UAPB’s defense with six tackles, including one for a loss.
The Golden Lions will hold two practices today at 8:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.
