Parolee held in Rally's robbery in Little Rock

A parolee is facing charges of aggravated robbery after he demanded cash from the register at a Little Rock Rally's, police said.

Michael Brodie, 47, was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Thursday and was later identified as the suspect in a photo lineup, an arrest report shows.

According to the Little Rock police report, the robber asked employees at the fast food restaurant at 5921 Baseline Road for $10. When they said no, he then asked for $10 from the register, the report said.

"The suspect told them he had a gun and threatened to shoot them if they didn't give him money," police wrote.

The report didn't indicate whether any money was actually handed over.

Brodie was located and arrested nearby in the 8800 block of Geyer Springs Road. He remained in the Pulaski County jail Thursday morning with bail not yet set.

Online records show Brodie is on standard parole through 2022 in Little Rock. Court records in Pulaski County show convictions for charges including theft by receiving in 2013 and breaking or entering in 2010.
