Haskell Historical Society Meeting

Saline Crossing Meeting

Mystery-Writing Course

HOT SPRINGS — The Garland County Library Writers College will continue a course focused on the basics of mystery writing from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Aug. 27. The class, Twisting a Mystery, will be taught by Sylvia Dickey Smith. Topics will include creating an intriguing premise, a crime scenario, a plot, clues, red herrings, misdirection and other basics of the mystery-writer’s craft.
