Authorities are working to develop a suspect after a man was found dead early Tuesday in a vehicle in Pine Bluff.
Howard Edwards, 61, of Pine Bluff was found about 2:20 a.m. by officers who went to check on a driver said to be "slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle parked on Mulberry Street," Pine Bluff police said in a statement.
Authorities found the 1993 gold Oldsmobile Royale between 14th and 15th avenues and then found Edwards unresponsive inside and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The front passenger door of the vehicle was open, police said.
No information on a suspect or motive in the killing is known.
