Denise Airola, director of the Office of Innovation for Education at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, told the state Board of Education last week that "I have given an F out, but I haven't done it lightly. In some cases it incentivizes and in other cases, it doesn't." The quote from Airola -- a former teacher -- was incorrectly attributed to another person in a Friday article about the plans for giving A through F letter grades to public schools based on already existing 2013-14 student test data.

Gina Chandler is the womens veteran coordinator for the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs. An article in Tuesday's editions misspelled her last name.
