4 arrested, 1 sought in Bryant home invasion, robbery

Four of five people who have been accused of invading and robbing a Bryant home in July were arrested by police this week.

Travon Lee of Bryant and Khalil Milton of Alexander, both 18, were taken into custody Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, according to the Saline County sheriff's office online inmate roster. Two unidentified male teenagers have also been taken into custody, Bryant Police Sgt. Todd Crowson said.

Crowson said police are still searching for Coytrell Harris, 21, as a suspect in the robbery.

On July 30, Hazel Gilson, 74, told Bryant police that three black men came into her Center Street home and held her at gunpoint, Arkansas Online previously reported.

She answered a knock at the door, then the men forced their way into her house and held her at gunpoint.

Her husband, Thomas Gilson, 74, came into the home while the invasion was in progress and the two were forced into a bathroom by one of the men while the others tore through the house looking for items to steal.

Although only three of the men entered the home on July 30, Crowson said all five were involved.

Lee, Milton and the two teenagers have been charged with aggravated robbery, kidnapping, theft of property, aggravated assault, second-degree battery and first-degree interference with emergency communication.

Lee and Milton are being held in lieu of $250,000 bond at the Saline County jail. One teenager's bail was set at $100,000 and the other is still pending, Crowson said.

Anyone with information about Harris' whereabouts can contact the Bryant Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at (501) 943-0943.
